CES 2011 has been literally filled up with tablet-related announcements, and now it's about time to take a look at yet another product of this type, namely the Cydle M7 MultiPad, an Android 2.1 device that actually manages to provide a couple of noteworthy features at a very decent price point. So, first and foremost, we'll have to point out that this tablet is built around an 800 Mhz ARM 11 CPU, accompanied by 256MB DDR 2 RAM memory and up to 16GB of flash memory for storage purposes, the overall configuration being powerful enough to run full HD videos.

Plus, its 7-inch, 800 x 480 pixels display should prove to be quite enough for web browsing, but if more screen space is required, users can always connect the M7 to a widescreen TV via the built-in HDMI interface.

Moreover, it packs a detachable screen cover and stand, while also featuring an eBook reader function, Wi-Fi connection, email and Application Market.

The device should also offer a fairly OK functioning life, as it comes equipped with a 4000 mAh battery, rechargeable via USB (sadly, not user swappable, unfortunately).

Last, but certainly not least, we'll have to mention that carrying this thing around shouldn't be much of a problem, given the fact that it measures 182 x 124 x 19.5 mm and weighs around 480 grams.

“Many consumers look for quick, easy ways to access the programs used most frequently, and the M7 does just that in a lightweight, portable device,” stated Terry Choi, director of sales, Cydle. “We’re looking forward to providing consumers an affordable, quality option that will serve a variety of purposes, while offering an excellent multimedia experience.”

Cydle’s M7 will be available in February 2011, with a starting MSRP of $249, which is actually quite an attractive price point, given the features this new Android tablet has in store.
