The record for the longest freeride mountain bike step-down backflip has been broken by biker Cam Zink.

Zink pulled off the stunt during the Red Bull Rampage competition. He competed to win Best Trick Award.

Surprisingly, he didn't, and he wasn't even the runner-up. He took third place in the competition, but he did break a world record.

The contest was held on the Oakley Icon Sender in Utah, the Huffington Post writes. Zink's 78-foot (24-meter) jump has made history.

Zink is going through a pressure-filled time of his life, with his girlfriend being pregnant. She was present through the steps of the competition.

He achieved the incredible mountain bike backflip during the first part of the run, and he was emotional during the second segment.
