Discounted from the initial $609 (roughly 458 EUR) MSRP

CyberPowerPC had quite a lot of promotions going on for Black Friday, but Cyber Monday seems to be no different as the boutique builder is now offering the AMD FX-4100 equipped Gamer Ultra 2098 PC for $459 (345 EUR) shipped.

Before the Cyber Monday discount, the gaming system retailed for $609 (roughly 458 EUR), so this is quite a large discount anyway you look at it.

For this much money, users will get a system powered by AMD’s quad-core FX-4100 CPU with a base clock of 3.6GHz and maximum Turbo Core speed of 3.8GHz, which is seconded by 8GB of DDR3 memory (split into two 4GB modules).

Storage is provided by a 500GB SATA 6Gbps hard drive with a spindle speed of 7200 RPM, while on the graphics front we get to see an AMD Radeon HD 6670 graphics card with 1GB of DDR3 video memory.

While this GPU certainly wouldn’t make in my Top 5 list for gaming graphics cards, it still can deliver quite some reasonable performance for casual gamers or even some MMORPG fans.

The rest of the Gamer Ultra 2098 PC configuration includes a Gigabyte M68MT-S2 micro-ATX motherboard, a 24x DVD burner, as well as 7.1-channel integrated audio, all packed inside an AZZA Orion PC case and powered by a 500 Watt power supply.

A keyboard and mouse are also provided together with the desktop, so everything you need to start gaming is included in the system’s box.

The CyberpowerPC Gamer Ultra 2098 desktop PC is available right now from Newegg.com with shipping included in the $459 price.

The offer is only available for a limited time, and there’s a 5 systems per client limit, but I doubt that too many of you will want to purchase that many desktops at once.
