CyberLink Corporation has recently updated its Power2Go software to a major version, reaching the seventh edition for one of the company’s best-selling products.

Power2Go is a popular application highly appreciated by its users for enabling them to easily burn any type of data onto their discs, while also featuring user-friendly interface and desktop gadgets.

Due to the latest release of Power2Go, users will have the possibility to burn their multimedia files onto a wide range of discs, including Blu-ray, DVDs and CDs, as well as the latest BDXL disc format that supports up to 128GB of data on a single disc.

Power2Go 7 can also be operated by inexperienced users with great ease due to its improved and intuitive graphical interface that also incorporates a handy Windows Desktop Gadget.

Furthermore, the latest version of CyberLink’s burning solution also adds protection to the media one burns onto discs since it provides industrial grade 256-bit encryption.

Considering Power2Go enables users to create their own custom discs, they can also build Autoruns for display their HD photos as interactive slideshows or they can design and embed personalized menus for their DVDs.

In terms of functionality, Power2Go’s most recent edition supports accessing and extracting data directly from any ISO image, while also sporting features like audio editing, CD ripping and burning MP3 discs.

Power2Go is already available on its dedicated CyberLink webpage, and it can be purchased for $49.95, whereas upgrading costs $34.95.
