ZeptoLab, the company behind the popular Cut the Rope for iOS , has recently announced the availability of another physic-based game “Cut the Rope: Experiments.”

According to the developer, this is a sequel to the original Cut the Rope and features the same familiar monster Om Nom, which made the game popular among gamers.

Those who played through the first game's levels will feel quite familiar with the new Cut the Rope: Experiments.

However, 'Experiments' comes with several new features, including a new character called 'the mad professor', as well as various tools such as a rope gun and a suction cup, that will help players successfully complete the game.

The game offers players 75 levels to complete, dubbed “experiments,” across 3 colorful new settings.

It looks like a new soundtrack, new animations and sounds have also been included, along with some commentary made by the Professor every time he talks to Om Nom, and in response to the player's achievements.

New missions are now available for players, which requires attention in finding the hidden photo evidence to help the scientist with his experiments.

As soon as the player completes the professor’s photo album he can share it with their friends on Facebook.

A new animated storyline featuring the professor’s intriguing commentary and reactions to Om Nom’s behavior has also been included.

The application features Game Center support for achievements and leaderboards where players can compare their progress to other rope cutters around the world.

In addition, a “Gift This App” option has been included to make it easier to share Om Nom with friends.

According to ZeptoLab, the application will soon be updated with new characters.

Cut the Rope: Experiments is now available for download from AppStore for $0.99 and is compatible with all iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad devices running iOS 3.0 or higher.
