Chillingo has rolled out a new version of its immensely popular puzzle game for iOS devices, Cut the Rope. Version 1.1.2 delivers new language support for the $0.99 title.

Developed by Chillingo Ltd. and published by ZeptoLab, Cut the Rope is one of the most popular puzzle games available for Apple’s iOS-based devices.

The control scheme in Cut the Rope couldn’t be simpler. Players swipe their finger across the ropes and collect the stars by touching them with the candy.

Levels become increasingly difficult as the player progresses through the game. Some levels require a lot of thinking before slicing through even the first piece of rope.

The changelog for Cut the Rope 1.1.2 is available below:

“A mysterious package has arrived, and the creature inside has only one request…CANDY!” reads the official description of Cut the Rope for iOS.

“Help get the candy to Om Nom, the adorable monster, in this highly innovative and addictive puzzle game.”

“Combining outstanding physics, devilishly tricky levels, and bright colorful visuals, Cut the Rope is one of the most original and fun-filled games on the App Store.”

The last time we reported on a Cut the Rope update from Chillingo was back in December, when the developer announced the release of Cut the Rope: Holiday Gift, a companion app featuring 25 Christmas-themed levels.

ZeptoLab was eager to thank all Om Nom fans out there by giving them an all new Holiday Gift featuring a great new stocking feature that magically shoots the Candy round the box.

The title is still available as a free download from the iTunes App Store.
