Google's Personalized Page is an interesting product designed by the search giant's employees that allows you to create your own Google homepage and use tiny utilities to gain instant access to the company's products. Since the release of the product, Personalized Homepage replaced many of the users' default homepages because it is more than a simple website. The product was improved with gadgets support, enabling users to place little utilities able to increase the functionality of the product by adding simple functions like Google Search, date and time.

Because the product tends to become more popular, Google decided it is the perfect time to add some more configuration options for its users. Although the registered members were able to configure the gadgets and the design of the elements, Google added theme support to help them change the entire appearance of the page.

If you login to your Personalized Homepage account, you should be able to see a new "Select theme" option, marked as new, that allows you to choose from up to 6 new interfaces: Beach, Bus Stop, City Scape, Sweet Dreams, Tea House and Seasonal Scape. All you need to do is select one theme from the list and press save. The appearance will be then modified according to your option into a more attractive interface.

Google also created a new option for Personalized Homepage placed above the search engine, allowing you to quickly switch to the classic view. The themes represent some XML files with CSS data that will "dynamically change to match your time of day, including local sunrise and sunset times", Google said, according to Ionut Alex, Google blogger.
