Customers can build custom Internet Explorer 9 packages on all the 93 languages supported by the browser. In order to do this they can leverage a tool that has been available for download for a while now, dubbed the Internet Explorer Administration Kit.

Internet Explorer Administration Kit 9 was released concomitantly with the latest iteration of IE, and continues to be available for download free of charge from the software giant.

As of earlier this week, Microsoft introduced support for no less than 53 new languages on top of the 40 that were available with the RTM Build of IE9.

Customers worldwide can use Internet Explorer Administration Kit 9 in order to create custom installation packs of IE9 in all languages supported, revealed Vishwac Sena Kannan and Kevin Luu, program managers, Internet Explorer.

“With this release, IEAK9 now supports building custom IE9 packages in all 93 languages. IEAK9 is a tool used to simplify the creation, deployment and management of customized IE9 packages,” the duo explained.

Users that intend to take advantage of IEAK9 must first download and install Internet Explorer 9. Of course, in this regard, IEAK9 is only available on the same operating systems as IE9, namely Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

“The Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK) 9 simplifies the creation, deployment and management of customized Internet Explorer 9 packages. IEAK 9 can be used to configure the out-of-box Internet Explorer 9 experience or to manage user settings after Internet Explorer 9 deployment,” the company said.

Playing nice with 93 languages, IE9 offers linguistic support for users in more markets than any other browser, including such releases as Firefox 4, Chrome 11, Opera 11 and Safari 5.

Although language support might not appear like a big deal, I think that it actually is, especially since it offers more end users the possibility of leveraging IE9 in their native tongue.
