BioWare has just revealed the current weekend event that takes place until May 11, tasking Dragon Age: Inquisition players with killing as many dragonlings as possible thanks to the fresh Dragonslayer free DLC that launched earlier this week.

Dragon Age: Inquisition delighted quite a lot of people back in November when it brought forth its single-player campaign and its cooperative multiplayer one.

Since then, BioWare has released a multiplayer add-on called Destruction, as well as a new single-player adventure called Jaws of Hakkon, albeit only on PC and Xbox One.

Earlier this week, a fresh multiplayer DLC arrived for free on all platforms, in the form of the Dragonslayer one, which brought three new characters, one new environment, as well as the long-awaited cooperative dragon battles.

In order to spur the community into trying out the DLC, a new multiplayer weekend event is now live, tasking all players with killing 10 dragonlings, after which they'll get a free Commendation chest.

For the Victory chest, PS4 owners are tasked with eliminating in total 130,000 beasts, while PC and Xbox One users have to lay to waste 65,000 dragonlings. Meanwhile, PS3 and Xbox 360 players have to take down 20,000 dragonlings.

The new weekend event ends on Monday, May 11, at 5am PST, according to the official website, so jump into the cooperative mode as soon as possible.
