In order to broaden China's PMP market, manufacturers are adding more valuable features to address different customer segments; gaming, GPS, and mobile TV receivers are their main options. Counting overseas manufacturers from Europe, South Korea, and Taiwan, there are now more than 30 PMP vendors only in China.

But if you haven't heard of any PMP manufacturer called Cupressaceae, don't worry? we haven't either. The name is Cypress in Latin, and I suppose it looks good on a PMP, just a little bit difficult to pronounce. Besides their cloning acts in the electronic industry, the Chinese cannot help themselves from producing new versions every hour, especially with a little bit of inspiration from what's really popular on the market today, such as, let's say, the iPhone.

After BK-939 launching a month ago, the company decided to release another PMP that keeps the same features and almost the same technical specifications, as the previous player did. Apparently, the company didn't steal anything from the mighty Apple yet, but judging by the form of this new PMP, it will be nice to find out more about the subject.

It's good to know that the Chinese PMP market was established in 2006, and it is expected that the PMPs equipped with mobile TV to take off and break the market in 2008.

Regarding the BK-900 portable media player's design, it sports a nice black curvaceous shape, which brings both envy and respect from other manufacturers. Smooth edges, shiny casing and sexy curvature make it a great accessory for the ladies. On the outside, it reveals a 2.8-inch TFT screen that is generous enough to make the user think it over when deciding to buy a Meizu.

As for the PMP capabilities, it can deal with AVI, MP3, WMA, WAV and JPG, which means it can record voice memos from friends, but also slideshow memories while playing the music. It also has an USB 2.0/UMS port, and the memory can be expanded to whatever the user needs, as it has a microSD slot and a 89.16 x 54.5 x 10.8mm form factor.

However, pricing and availability details are unknown for the time being.
