In an attempt to recreate the octopus-headed creature from H.P. Lovercraft's fantasy story, Rusty Eulberg came up with a bizarre festive dinner made from a turkey stuffed with an octopus and decorated with crab legs and bacon.

The nightmare before Christmas meal is called "Cthurkey" and to make it even more outrageous, it comes served on a Nazi plate featuring a swastika. Eulberg, a database administrator in Lubbock, Texas, passionate about fantasy novels, got his inspiration from the horrifying fantasy character, Cthulhu, according to Daily Mail.

The horrible creation looks like a huge mutant spider with tentacles and crab extremities and can easily freak someone out. While trying to do something special and unique for the holidays, Rusty and his wife came up with the idea of combining crab legs, octopus tentacles, bacon and a turkey and mix them all together in a culinary abomination.

As expected, the photo of the “Cthurkey” went viral with people admitting they could never in their lives eat such a thing. But the couple said that it actually tasted really good, they even called it “delicious,” which is really hard to believe just by looking at it.

Each piece was cooked individually, and just after that they were placed together on the Nazi-themed plate. They may actually taste fine, but that doesn't change the fact that it still looks like a creature from hell. The picture of the weird meal appeared online about two years ago, but only now was the story of the culinary abomination finally revealed.

The horror meal is just the first in an array of weird and gruesome “delicacies” the couple is planning in the future. “I don't know how we can make the turkey better, but maybe we can make tentacle cupcakes with gummy worms. And maybe deep fry the whole thing,” Rusty Eulberg said in an interview with the Gothamist.
