A lot of balance changes

Crysis Wars is the multiplayer component of the highly acclaimed Crysis series made by Crytek. The company has just released a big patch for the title, changing a lot of game elements and creating a more carefully balanced game environment in which all players have a competitive chance at winning.

Crytek says that most of the client and server crashes which have affected players are now gone as the server architecture has been completely overhauled. The memory holes which made severs slow down in the game have also been fixed, which means that you can play longer without any performance issue. The patch also makes sure that you can skip all the intro movies, which translates into quicker access to the game and Claymore mines have now improved functionality, fixing a bug which caused them not to detect enemy players. A bug which caused a second reload animation when using the AY-69 has also been corrected, making the weapon usable again.

The patch also includes a lot of balance tweaks related to Crysis Wars. Here's a comprehensive list: the AY, SMG and PS Radar Kit have had their price reduced while the Shotgun now costs more; the speed of the LAW and AAA Rocket has been increased; the recoil of the SMG and the Assault Rifle has been modified; the kill area and the splash radius for all explosive weapons have been reduced while the grenade launcher has a reduced rate of fire; the damage from the AY-69 is now higher while stand to prone and stand to crouch modifiers have been changed. There are also shortcuts added to directly access the different modes of the Nanosuit.
