Every PC gamer out there is waiting for Crysis. That's a fact! Also, every PC gamer out there wants to know exactly what the minimum specs for running the game are. That's a fact too. Do you want to know what else is a fact? The minimum specs for the game, posted by the official Crysis message board, via EA's Online store, that's what.

Leaving the already known facts about the game for after the break, here's what your minimum PC specs should look like in order to handle Crytek Studios' fancy first-person shooter, Crysis:

CPU: Intel P4 2.8Ghz or AMD equivalent RAM: 1GB Video Card: 6800GT (256mb) or ATI/AMD Radeon 9800 Pro (256mb) HDD Space: 16GB OS: Microsoft Windows Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c Compatible Keep in mind that developers generally set the bar very low when it comes to minimum specs for their PC games, so it doesn't necessarily mean that your PC will run Crysis 100 percent well, if you've got the upper listed requirements. Right, now let's see a few already known details about Crytek's upcoming game:

First of all, everyone should know that Crysis is a next-generation PC title developed by the same guys behind Far Cry, and which, by the way, you can download right HERE for free. Yup, it's the full game, no catch, you just have to watch a lousy commercial for a few seconds and then you're good to play.

What's so amazing about Crysis is that it simply looks impeccable. Every gaming site out there describes it as "a stunning technical achievement", combining true next-gen visuals, fast-paced gameplay and a mind grabbing storyline, challenging the player to adapt to any situation, being faced with just one goal - survive!

The game is set to ship in a Special Edition package as well, containing three discs with a tremendous amount of extras. Here are the full inner findings below:

- "Making of Crysis" featurette taking you inside the making of the epic game - A unique in-game vehicle - "Meet the Developers" vignettes with the lead designers at Crytek - The initial Crysis concept video that started it all, along with key trailers - A show reel of original concept and production artwork from the team - 32 page concept art book - Official soundtrack of the original music by the award-winning composer Inon Zur (past video game credits include Baldur's Gate II, Prince of Persia and Everquest II)

Now take a look at that specs list once more, write them down if you want, and compare them with what you've got. Do you have a match? Well congrats... I kinda don't.
