As far as coolers go, the one that Cryorig has just launched is the sort that does away with all reservations in regard to size and weight, just to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Called Cryorig R1 Ultimate, it is a dual-tower cooling module with a weight of 1,248 grams / 2.75 pounds and a size of 130 x 140 x 168.3 mm / 5.11 x 5.51 x 6.62 inches.

Without fans, it weighs 936 grams / 2.06 pounds.

There are seven 6 mm heatpipes holding the two fin towers up, made of C1100 nickel-plated Pure copper.

Speaking of the fin towers, they boast the Heatsink Displacement Optimization design, which “allows for better and more evenly spread heat conduction.”

The Cryorig R1 Ultimate will become available in January 2014 for $89.95 / €89.95. It ships with the MultiSeg Quick Mount System, compatible with Intel's LGA 115x processors.
