The high-end universal CPU cooler ships with one of the XF140 fans for free

It seems like there can never be too many coolers out there, regardless of type and performance, so Cryorig has formally launched its latest invention, as well as a couple of fans to go with it.

Well, that's not exactly true, or perhaps we should say that the statement is incomplete. While the XT140 140 mm fan works well enough, it's the other one that the R1 ultimate CPU cooler is meant to be used with.

In fact, anyone who decides to buy the newcomer will be glad to learn that an XF140 140 mm PWM fan will ship for free along with it.

The Cryorig R1 Ultimate CPU cooler uses the company's patented DirectCompress full contact soldering process. This increases contact surface with the CPU by 10%.

The product also benefits from the Jet Fin Acceleration System, and Heatpipe Convex-Align and Displacement Optimization Systems.

Two XF140 PWM fans are included in the package, which, we suppose, means that you'll be getting three of them. Good thing a third can be installed. It's all because of the dual-tower design of the heatsink, or fin arrays.

Keep in mind, though, that the offer for a free XF140 fan will only last for a limited time, as long as supplies allocated for the bonus last.

It's hard to say how long that will be. Since R1 Ultimate is a high-end cooler, it won't really get many orders, since the high-end market is a pretty small part of the total.

On the flip side, Cryorig might have allocated only a small number of fans based on exactly that reasoning. Ultimately, balance is the goal, between the customer base and the ability of the free fans to attract more buyers.

Cryorig will soon ship the newcomers, but prices aren't known. Both Intel and AMD central processing units and accelerated processing units are supported.
