The team at the Paradox Development Studio announces that it will launch the Rajas of India expansion for their grand strategy title Crusader Kings II on March 25 via a number of digital distribution services and that the changelog for the patch that will arrive for the core game at the same time is already available.

The list is extensive and can be consulted in full on the official forums of the game, but the Major modifications made to the game include:

Major map revisions and additions: East Africa, Armenia, Central Asia, Siberia and India Added Steam matchmaking support Added Steam workshop support Added diplomatic range, blocking diplomacy and councillor actions vs too distant characters Factions will now revolt as a single unified realm under a temporary title Added attrition for units that have been "out-of-supply" for too long (can't live off the land in neutral counties, etc) Added support to change window mode setting: fullscreen, borderless or windowed New unit type system allowing for more flexible unit types, including War Elephants, Camel Warriors and Horse Archers Blocked "North Korea Mode"; you now lose huge parts of all income and levies if your demesne is too big Save games are now compressed by default (can be toggled on and off) Major memory and performance optimizations

There are also new Holy Orders to play around with, more heresies, a larger amount of lovers for all characters, changes made to the way some core mechanics work.

The Paradox Development Studio has also made changes to how the Artificial Intelligence plays Crusader Kings II and has tweaked the user interface to make it easier for players to get all the information they need.

The new patch will be offered for free to all those who own the grand strategy title and do not require the purchase of Rajas of India.

Those who will also get the expansion will be able to enjoy all new gameplay based on the Indian subcontinent, with extra features also added to the rest of the game world.

There are three new religions to enjoy, all of them with their unique mechanics and approach to the game, a set of events specifically tailored for the new tactical situation and powerful War Elephants to use during battles.

Crusader Kings II is also getting an expanded set of modding opportunities, which will be welcomed by the community and will allow for the further development of popular mods like A Game of Thrones.
