14 DAY TRIAL // The team at the Paradox Development Studios is announcing that it is launching a new patch for Crusader Kings II, labeled 2.3.1, which eliminates some of the problems the community has been complaining about since the introduction of the Way of Life expansion in late 2014.

The main aim of the Crusader Kings II patch is to make sure that no more crashes take place and gamers will be happy to learn that it is now harder to seduce the spouses of great rulers, which should make that particular Focus less useful and annoying, depending on which side of the seduction process and its consequences the player was on.
The Catholic Holy Orders will also be less powerful in terms of regiment size and Hungary will also be reduced in power when it forms from the Magyar holdings.
There are also changes made to the converter, and an error that stopped some mods from working has been eliminated.
Crusader Kings II might not get anymore DLC
Although the development team at Paradox is not offering any clear announcement, Way of Life might have been the last full expansion for Crusader Kings II, which means that no major features will probably be added to the title and the community will have to be content with bug fixes in the coming months.
The company has already said that all patches will be delivered for free and that it has no plans to introduce a DLC designed to simply balance the experience.
It’s unclear whether a team is already exploring the possibilities of creating a Crusader Kings III or whether the company is shifting its resources around to deliver other grand strategy titles during this year.
Their coming big attraction is Hearts of Iron IV, the World War II-themed experience that’s supposed to be launched before the end of spring.
The game will use a new engine and the development team says that it wants to give gamers more chances to make big decisions which affect the course of the conflict, with new systems for everything from combat to air power use and research.
