Who do you blame if you go to a disco and get bored to death? Mickey Mouse or the DJ? You're right, you shouldn't blame a DJ. After all, he's just a hi-tech music composer who plays with some buttons. Maybe his turntable isn't professional or maybe he still wears the headphones that his grandmother bought him when he turned 15.

Here's a piece of equipment that will probably save DJs from crowd's booing: Creative Aurvana DJ Headphones. They'll surely perform better while hearing "everything creative zen".

The headphones feature brushed metal and diamond-cut finishing. They're designed to give "musicians" or DJ wannabes ultra-comfort high-grade acoustic performance. The device boasts some powerful but lightweight acoustically-tuned Neodymium drivers with CCAW (Copper-Clad Aluminum Wire) voice coils for accurate and linear response from any media source. The earcups are angled in order to optimally direct sound into the ear canal. The Circum-Aural closed-back design with comfortable leatherette ear-pads will ensure excellent noise isolation.

The headphones also come with 180-degree vertical swivel earcups to allow DJs to keep one ear on the ground as to know as soon as possible what sound is not zen enough (and also find out fast who and why is booing). Single-sided coiled "Oxygen-free" cables offer some freedom of movement. There's also a headband with comfortable padding that will allow DJs to keep their "headz ringin'" for hours.

It's targeted at club DJs, home studio mixers and discerning listeners. The Creative Aurvana DJ headphones complement CD players, MP3 players and high-fidelity X-Fi audio solutions such as Creative Xmod. No info on the price yet.
