Creative has silently released a 4.3" 16:9 widescreen version of its famous Zen series, one which comes in two capacity versions, of 30GB and 60GB, respectively, and a battery life of no less than 240 hours of continuous video playback, according to Creative's representatives.

You can also benefit from other great features such as the CompactFlash Type II slot which you can use to directly transfer your pictures from the digital camera to the video player. In addition, you can also be able to output images/video to a TV, even an HD compliant one, or to listen to dozens of radio stations because of the integrated FM tuner. The new widescreen Zen sports a microphone, integrated organizer that syncs with Microsoft Outlook and USB 2.0 connectivity and is compatible with several formats, including MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4-SP, MJPEG and XviD.

Looks like you will be able to find the 30GB version at a $399 retail price and, if you choose the 60GB, you will have to pay $100 more.

Earlier this month, Creative launched the Zen Neeon 2 which comes with a selection of Creative Stik-On skins, each line-up featuring four characters that stand for different music genres. The slim MP3 player that enables you to surf music, photos, videos and FM radio has a size of just 81mm x 42mm x 12.5mm, weighs only 50g and comes in three capacity models - 4GB, 2GB or 1GB. Furthermore, the Neeon 2 sports an integrated FM tuner, voice recorder, line in recording and a 1.5" colorful display.

If you choose Creative's latest device, you will be able to listen to up to 20 hours of non-stop music coming from your Zen or enjoy eight hours of continuous video playback.
