Find out what real-time strategy is all about

Castle Fight is a Warcraft III map created by Gex that can support up to twelve players; six on the West team and six on the East one, though I recommend that you play 4 vs 4, because otherwise the game will get pretty laggy. The main purpose of the game is to destroy the opposite team's castle. Each player has control of only one builder that is chosen from these races: Human, Naga, Elf Union, Chaos, Undead Legions, Orcish Horde, Northern Realms, Corrupted Ones, Night Elfs, Mechanical.

Players don't engage each other directly; they have to construct buildings, which will spawn creeps, towers and support (special) buildings like: artillery buildings and treasure boxes.

The main idea in Castle Fight is that you have to win by just building the right structures in key positions (and do other things like collecting extra money and using your Rescue Strike properly), so in no time you will have your own unit. You can control buildings only by turning their abilities off and on (most of the time you want them to remain on, as they are by default). Before you can upgrade creep-spawning structures you have to turn off the unit production.

The unit buildings also create wood that allows you to construct the support and artillery buildings. There is a food limit of one in Castle Fight that is reserved for the race's ultimate structure (it can be chosen from several). You can buy one additional food at the castle through the item called Cheese.

Items are carried by the worker in one of the six empty slots and have various abilities like damaging enemy units, giving off auras, increasing damage of allied units by 200% or 400% and healing nearby buildings.

You can gather gold by killing enemy units and buildings and of course there is the income provided by the unit buildings, which will come every 10 seconds. Each player has a basic income of 5 gold. You get income for each structure you finish. Buildings that train creeps give an income of about 2% of their cost each. Buildings that don't produce creeps give less income because they don't give gold to enemy as bounty. If a building gets destroyed you will lose the income for it.

The red player can modify the game with various commands in the first 20 seconds. The player can choose whether all the others will pick the races or be drafted randomly, how many rounds the game will last, the amount of time fog of war will be in effect, if bot players will replace the human players when they leave and a wide variety of other things. These game modes consist of a dash followed by two letters and a number. The first character will determine the race distribution: p - pick race d - draft race r - random race m - mirror mode (random) The second character will determine how long the races are kept: g - the race is determined in round one and then kept the whole game r - the race is determined before each round The third character is a number between 1 and 6 determining the number of wins for overall victory.

Modifications can be entered by the red player in the first 20 seconds of the game (like game modes). There are many modifications and explaining them would take too long, so here is an enumeration: co (Coins), dr (Dual races), uo (Units Only), na (No artillery), ntb (No treasure boxes), nb (No bounty), nt (No Taxes), ht (High taxes), ns (No special buildings), ni (no items), nafk (No AFK), lm (League mode), (No legendaries), nrs (No rescue strike), llx (Lumber limited X), dom (domination), slX (Single lane X), sm (Stable mode), fowX (Fog of War X seconds), banx (Ban X races), mpX (Multiple players X), ca (Cacing). Fun modes: cc (Crazy coins), nuke (Nuke mode).

In order to play this map you will have to install Warcraft 3:Reign of Chaos and the Frozen Throne add-on. Also, in order to play on the battlenet you need the latest Warcraft 3 patch. Create an account, download the map, place it on the Maps/Download folder and you are ready to go.
