That's no joke

Close your mouth, breathe and stay calm. Strangely enough, Cowon tries to compete with the big fish again and renovates A2's face, even if the player has almost made its entrance on the market.

Previously noticed at CES2007, Cowon A3 is a portable media player available in huge 30 and 60 GB internal memory storage capacities. And yes, it can actually serve as the updated version of the already famous A2 portable media player, with the only major difference that this one features a built-in DMV TV receiver. As this wasn't enough, the makers equipped the player with an option that can actually view Microsoft's Office documents and has a TV in and out.

As you probably noticed, the portable media player is the A2 version with a cool face-lift, and should probably follow the specs list also, since it reveals almost the same stuff such as the built-in 4 inch LCD TFT screen display and many details in the design line.

When it comes to its unique capabilities, the question is whether A3 will also be able to deal with MP3, OGG, WMA, AC3, WAV, FLAC, APE and AAC for the audio media files, as well as H.264, WMV7/8/9, DivX 3.11/4/5/6, XviD and MPEG-4/-2/-1, D1: NTSC on the video part. It should also pack some extra options like the common FM radio or the voice recorder. And how about the USB host option? Will the A3 double as one, if the user needs it? Hey, there are some pretty juicy details for you to gaze on, as far as I can see?

So there are a few reasons why you should grab an A3 in 30GB or 60 GB for about $387 and $465, respectively! Don't look at me! I am not a Cowon lover! But?who knows?
