Eating animals that died in traffic accidents is OK, the cowgirls say

This May 23, at noon, local time, a pair of cowgirls are to meet up at the intersection of Great Northern Boulevard and W. 14th Street, Helena, US, and encourage people to eat roadkill BBQ.

The cowgirls are proud PETA activists who are firmly convinced that, for those who simply cannot find it in their hearts to quit eating meat altogether, there is only one other option left: roadkill.

They say that eating animals killed by cars is not a blameworthy practice, simply because it was not done on purpose.

“Great Northern Boulevard and W. 14th Street, Helena,” reads one of the banners these girls will bring with them.

“By eating deer and elk accidentally killed on highways, meat addicts can get their fix and help keep Montana clean at the same time.”

“Of course, the best thing for people to do is to stop eating animals altogether and go vegan,” cowgirl Leila Sleiman says.
