14 DAY TRIAL // Every once in a while, we all get a little bit confused about who we are and what our purpose in life might be. Still, a cow by the name Milkshake has taken the entire idea of questioning one's identity to a whole new level.
This 8-year-old Hereford heifer is very much convinced that she is a dog. Hence, she expects her food to be presented to her in a bowl and has several canine friends, Oddity Central informs.
Besides, the cow is not a big fan of grass. However, she very much likes treats and snacks that dogs usually eat, the same source tells us.
The 8-year-old cow now lives at a ranch in California, US, with Beth DiCaprio of the Grace Foundation. Before being brought at this ranch, Milkshake lived with an abusive animal hoarder.
It is believed that, because she didn't get to interact with others of her kind when she was younger, Milkshake grew up thinking that she was a dog.
“She hung out with the dogs, so I think that’s what she assumed – that’s what she is, more than a cow. She doesn’t really know. She was never around another cow,” says Beth DiCaprio.
The folks behind the Grace Foundation hope that, in time, Milkshake will figure out that she is not a dog but a cow, and start acting accordingly.
