The perfume, especially designed for Avon by International Flavors and Fragrances, has suggestively been called Spotlight.
With all this, the campaign motto is, predictably enough, “Step Into It.” Of course, this is because it is probably meant to remind women just how important they actually are and why they need to stand up and claim their rightful place, basking in other's attention just like they would when in front of a camera – divas all the way.
The producing company was generous enough to satisfy the public curiosity, and has revealed the composition of its latest, and highly anticipated fragrance. Spotlight promises to be a very tempting mixture of oriental rich notes and floral freshness. However, before getting right in the middle of all that delight, one will first encounter the vivid smell of Italian bergamot essence and mandarin. The heart of the perfume will awake the senses with a unique combination of mimosa, tuberose and white freesia hints, while the long-lasting base notes feature sandalwood and vanilla musk undertones.
The fragrance will officially go on sale next spring, only in the USA. Most probably, foreign markets will have to wait until summer for Spotlight to be launched here as well. The scent promises a delightful experience, not only for the sense but also in what concerns the price – for only $22,50, you could be the lucky one stepping into the “spotlight” and indulging in the sweet illusion of fame and fortune.
Well-known for being both an excellent actress and a mother, Courteney Cox is likely to have a long term collaboration with the reputed cosmetics company, as she will also be featured in commercials and ads all over the world, to prove, if necessary, that perfumes do make one's life a bit more “inspiring.”
