It's decided, Courteney Cox is going to have an Irish wedding to her rocker fiancé Johnny McDaid, later this year, most likely this autumn. The actress has been involved in this whirlwind romance that has seen her skip some of the steps and has her racing for the altar ahead of her good friend, Jennifer Aniston.

The news that Cox finally settled on her wedding location comes from The Sun, which claims to have spoken to an inside source who found out that the couple fell in love with the Irish countryside. The “Cougar Town” actress is going to say her vows at Ashford Castle in Lough Corrib, Galway, according to the insider.

This shouldn't come as news to those who follow the actress in the media, as last week she was reported to be checking out wedding locations in McDaid's native Ireland and she seemed to have fallen in love with the country.

The source revealed that “Johnny took Courteney to Ireland to meet his family and they fell in love with Ashford Castle. They want to get married there at the end of the year and have a big bash in LA on a Malibu beach afterwards.”

Johnny proposed to Courtney after just six months of dating, since they've been first spotted together back in December, at Jennifer Aniston's Christmas bash. The two seem to have set their relationship on fast forward, because here we are, six months later, talking about their wedding plans.

McDaid, a 38-year-old rocker for the band Snow Patrol, is said to be getting married to Cox, 50, later this year, most likely in the fall.

Last month, Cox gushed on Twitter “I'm engaged to him!” while McDaid displayed an equally enthusiastic attitude “I'm engaged to her!” McDaid is said to have asked permission to wed Cox from her daughter Coco, which is the child of actor David Arquette, Courteney's previous husband.

Coco has accompanied the happy couple on their trip to Ireland and she has presumably had a word to say in the choosing of the wedding location. She too seemed smitten with the local countryside and probably had nothing to object to her mother getting married abroad.

While Cox is making wedding plans, she has only recently finalized her divorce from David Arquette. She and the actor have remained on good terms despite the split and share custody of their daughter Coco. It's not known whether he'll be invited to the wedding or not.
