Conan O’Brien may be new to the Twitter game but that’s not to say he doesn’t know what to do to get attention. A few days ago, the funnyman announced he would be following a random person on Twitter, and chose Sarah Killen to do so. In an interview with PopEater, Sarah reveals how this has changed her life for the better.

Sarah, a 19-year-old girl from Fowlerville, MI, was a Coco fan but little did she imagine he too would want to follow her on Twitter. Yet it was her whom he picked, saying “your life is about to change.” Indeed, Sarah’s life has taken a turn for the better, being now able to afford the wedding she’s been dreaming of for a long time, and it’s all thanks to the attention she’s getting thanks to O’Brien.

“It has really helped out. I haven’t had anything negative happen so far. I’m getting married on September 25, and we didn’t know if we would be able to afford it. Now I’m getting custom made shoes and a dress from Kelima in New York. They offered a gown in exchange for promoting their favorite charity, the Children’s Hunger Fund. We’re getting a limo, Classic Creations is giving us wedding bands and there’s a vineyard in California sending us wine. We’ve got it all covered now...” Sarah says for the aforementioned e-zine.

Though she’s convinced picking people at random and following their tweets is part of some master plan on Conan’s part, Sarah hopes she can somehow get him to be part of her wedding, perhaps even stand as best man. “Absolutely. My fiancé wants Conan to be his best man. That would be really cool. And hey, if he wants us to come on his show, we’d get married on there. That would be fantastic,” she explains in the same interview.

Unfortunately, even if Coco invited them, there would be no show to invite them on, as he makes it very clear in one of his most recent tweets. On the night of the Oscars, O’Brien took to Twitter to say that, if he had a show, he would be letting his followers know which star had just stepped up on the stage. Since he didn’t, “instead, here's my favorite frozen vegetable: Peas!”
