Are you waiting for the Samsung Galaxy S6? You probably are since the Korean tech giant has promised the new flagship will mark a new era for the company.

We've heard good things and bad things about the Galaxy S6 and seen it allegedly appear in several leaks. Some folks have even constructed accurate renders based on the information we had on our hands.

However, the mystery of how the Galaxy S6 and its dual-edged brother, the Galaxy S6 Edge, will end up looking like hasn't been completely solved and most of you are still probably mulling over this puzzle.

The latest leaked image shows Galaxy S6 and its multi-edged version

We can attempt to help your imagination by serving you with a recently leaked 3D render coming to us via CNET Korea/ ZDNet Korea.

The image depicts five phone models, some boasting protective cases. The first one is a standard Galaxy S6, while the second is coated with a Verus cover.

The picture also hints towards a dual-edged variant of the Galaxy S6. As you can see, the fourth phone is edged on the right while the fifth appears to be edged on the left.

So we’re either dealing with a double-curved display model or Samsung plans to offer customers a chance to opt for the placement of the edge.

But Samsung insiders already revealed that the smartphone would have a dual-edged display with symmetrical sides. The phone is said to use aluminum.

Will the Galaxy S6 be Samsung's salvation?

Samsung’s smartphone business appears to be shaky as of late. The company is facing intense pressure from companies like Apple and Xiaomi in markets all over the world.

The tech behemoth is probably putting a lot of its hopes for glory on the Galaxy S6. That’s why the company has put a lot of effort into building this model, while taking into account customer input.

For example, Samsung plans to make TouchWiz on the Galaxy S6 less cluttered. It also wants to make its flagship feel more premium, so it switched to high-end materials to build it.

It remains to be seen whether this will be enough to replicate the success Samsung registered with the iconic Galaxy S4 launched two years ago.
