80 Plus Bronze may be the second lowest power efficiency rating (80 Plus is the lowest), but any 80 Plus logo means high quality, which is why Cougar is bound to get quite a few orders for the CMX V.3 series.

The new line of PSUs from the company has up to 88% peak efficiency and comes in 700W, 850W and 1000W outputs.

In that order, the power supplies cost $109 / €109, $129 / €129, and $159 / €159.

All of them have power consumption of under 0.3W in standby mode (ErP 2013 compliant), advanced cable management (modular cabling system) and a small size (160 mm length).

The size is actually rare for power supplies of over 850W, but Cougar somehow managed it.

All in all, I can see why Cougar would say that these PSUs targeted demanding gamers.
