Finally it seems that the IT market is getting back to its old, periodically-updating self, as even Corsair has come out and issued a press release detailing its newest high-end memory products.

Corsair has received many awards over the years, most of them for its high-quality memory products and power supplies.

That said, the outfit has been pumping out new DDR3 kits and modules for a long time, some of which were among the strongest of their kind.

This once, Corsair may not have went out of its way to push its DDR3 over 2,000 MHz or even 2,500 MHz, but it did throw in a nice level of overclockability.

Granted, provided the mainboard has sufficient overclocking features, practically any memory kit can be pushed higher than usual.

Nevertheless, only high-grade models actually withstand such scenarios because of their components and, more importantly, the presence of a suitable cooling solution.

The Cerulean Blue Vengeance line is what Corsair brought forth in its most recent announcement, it being composed of a module and three kits.

The module itself has a capacity of 4 GB, leading to kit capacities of 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) and 16 GB (4 x 4 GB), respectively. The remaining kit is a 4 GB offer made of two 2 GB modules.

All newcomers have an operating voltage of 1.5V, latencies of 9-9-9-24 and a base clock speed of 1,600 MHz.

"The Vengeance family combines provides outstanding overclockability and an aggressive look at an affordable price," said Thi La, Vice President of Memory Products at Corsair.

"The new blue heat spreaders give builders and integrators more choice in customizing their systems, whether they are building a new Sandy Bridge-based PC, or they just want to add bold look to an existing one."

A lifetime warranty is available, but Corsair did not give any prices.
