Retailers and online stores should soon add a new batch of Corsair solid-state drives to their list of available products, assuming they haven't already.

Named Force Series GS, the line of SSDs is made up of 180 GB, 240 GB, 360 GB and 480 GB members.

In that order, they cost $190 (153 Euro), $240 (193 Euro), $350 (281 Euro) and $490 (394 Euro).

All of them use the SATA III interface (SATA 6.0 Gbps), support TRIM and can reach random write speeds of up to 90,000 IOPS.

Laptops, obviously, are where the newcomers will be most useful, but desktops should be able to use them as well. The presence of a 3.5-inch adapter in the package of each drive even ensures that cases don't need special, 2.5-inch bays.
