Corsair, one of the leading manufacturers of high performance computer and flash memory products, has just announced that it will launch a new 4GB DOMINATOR DDR3 memory kit, running at 2000MHz at this year's Computex show held in Taipei between June 3-7. The company has designed the new memory kit to provide users with a superior performance memory alternative.

According to Richard Hashim, Director of Marketing at Corsair, the flash memory company focuses on providing enthusiast users with some of the fastest memory modules available on the market. The release of these new 2000MHz ultra fast DDR3 4GB DOMINATOR memory modules demonstrates Corsair's commitment in providing DDR3 alternatives to enthusiast users.

The company's DOMINATOR series is designed to provide the ultimate in performance technology. These modules are built with the highest performing IC overclocking capability, which is accompanied by the company's patented DHX cooling solution. The DHX technology provides memory modules with an innovative dual-layer heat sink design, meant to optimize memory performance and reliability by keeping the thermal level as low as possible. This technology allows Corsair's memory modules to achieve some of the best overclocking capability available on the market.

It is uncertain how many users will jump at the opportunity of getting one of these DDR3 memory kits, as their estimated price tag is going to be around $675 USD. According to the memory company, the products are going to be available for purchase at authorized distributors, resellers and e-tailers worldwide, in Q3 of 2008.

With the new release, Corsair tries to become a market leader for the next generation DDR3 memory standard. Over the years, Corsair's products have proved to be the best choice for high-performance gaming rigs, as they provided some impressive benchmark results.
