After a long wait, Corsair has finally announced the worldwide availability of the Hydro Series H80 and H100 CPU water coolers, which are compatible with a wide range of processors from both Intel and AMD.

Corsair made official these solutions at the end of May, when it promised that they would become available starting June.

However, the company was unable to keep to its original promise and the water-coolers just saw limited availability, a few units popping up in various online stores with higher than MSRP prices from time to time.

The H80 and the H100 were designed together with CoolIT and use a low-profile cooling unit with a micro-channel copper cold plate and a split-flow manifold.

Right on the CPU block assembly, Corsair has placed a digital fan control button, which allows users to select between three different cooling modes that control the rotation speed of the radiator fans.

Speaking of the radiator, this is the only component to differ between the two Hydro Series CPU coolers, as the H80 comes with a 120mm unit, while the H100 features a 240mm radiator.

This means that the H100 can only be installed in cases with fittings for a standard 240mm radiator, while the H80 is compatible with almost all chassis that feature a 120mm fan mount.

Both the H80 and H100 include a Corsair Link digital connector, which, when combined with the Corsair Link Commander unit and the special Dashboard software, can monitor and control the water cooler's performance.

According to Corsair, the Hydro Series H80 is available for a suggested retail price of $109 USD, and the Hydro Series H100 is available for a US suggested retail price of $119 USD, but in reality these may differ.

Newegg for example, sells the H80 for $121.99, which is $13 more than Corsair's recommended price tag.
