Charlie Sheen gets visit from the LAPD after caller claims he has firearms in his home

Police officers were at Charlie Sheen’s house (or Sober Valley Lodge, as he calls it) just minutes ago, conducting a pre-planned raid after receiving a complaint from someone inside the house about criminal activity.

TMZ reports that cops descended to Sheen’s home while he and his friends were having hamburgers in the back yard.

They were looking for a gun, as someone had called to warn them that the actor had a firearm in his possession, which came in direct violation of the temporary restraining order that his ex, Brook Mueller, got.

At the same time, it was believed that cops would place Sheen on 5150 involuntary psychiatric hold if they did find weapons in the house, deeming him a danger to himself and others.

As it turns out, Sheen had nothing to worry about with the house call, since police officers left empty-handed, TMZ says.

“Charlie’s attorney Mark Gross says police found one rifle – from the 1800s – and ‘a few bullets.’ He says Charlie has no other weapons in the house,” the e-zine writes.

“Gross also confirmed that police were executing a search warrant in response to a complaint from someone – he didn’t know who – making a statement about Charlie and a gun,” TMZ further says.

Apparently, the actor was very cooperative with police officers, who had no reason to arrest him and/or put him on a 5150 hold.

In fact, Sheen himself told his Twitter fans about the unexpected “visit” and even praised the cops for doing such a wonderful job.

“all good here on homefront. all reports are false. I’ll explain more very soon,” Charlie tweeted as the raid began.

“the LAPD were AWESOME. Absolute pros! they can protect and serve this Warlock anytime!!!” he tweeted after the search was over.

“101 and on the black. 50 cops in my home. they all left. I’m still here. WINNING?” the “Warlock” tweeted just minutes ago.
