Cooler Master, one of the world's leading manufacturers of computer cooling solutions, has just announced the latest addition to its CPU cooling range of products, providing users with support for the latest high-end computer processors, including Intel's highest-performance CPU to date, the LGA 1366-ready Core i7. Dubbed V10, the new CPU cooler from Cooler Master is a real monster in terms of size, providing an optimum air flow not only for the CPU itself, but also for the components surrounding it.

The new V10 CPU cooler has been designed to generate more than 200 watts of cooling power, a statement of the performance capability of this behemoth. That alone could ensure a maximum air flow for even the highest-performance CPUs on the market, including the Extreme Edition Core i7 965 model, released by Intel as part of its next-generation CPU family. In addition, this monster can also support some of the other CPUs on the market, with support for the following sockets: Intel LGA775, and AMD's 754/939/940 and AM2.

As far as specifications go, the new Cooler Master behemoth boasts 3 sets of modular fins, has 10 heat pipes, a mirror finished base and two 120mm fans, featuring a maximum speed of 2400RPM. That said, the V10 is ready to provide its users with an impressive air flow of 90CFM, while the minimum fan noise level is estimated at 17dBA. Additionally, thanks to the integration of an intelligent hybrid TEC technology from Cooler Master, the CPU will benefit from a great cooling power, without exceeding the energy consumption.

Cooler Master's V10 CPU comes with a fan life expectancy of 40,000 hours at working temperatures of 25 degrees Celsius. The company is yet to provide details regarding the pricing and availability of its new high-performance CPU cooler.
