Since new hardware often demands better cooling, and since the consumer base always is interested in new devices, Cooler Master figured it was time for a new case fan to hit stores.

Though it is known for making everything from power supplies and CPU coolers, Cooler Master is called what it is called for a reason.

Obviously it specializes in creating ways of keeping CPUs, video cards and any other type of hardware components within safe temperature ranges.

This once, however, instead of making some new beast meant to chill CPUs from Intel or Advanced Micro Devices, the outfit brought out a case fan.

The newcomer is an addition to the Turbine Master series and bears the name of Turbine Master Mach 1.2.

It is, apparently, meant to disperse case heat without making too much noise, hence its sound output of 21.1 dBA.

Nevertheless, even at that level of silence, the product still manages to reach a rotary speed of 1,200 RPM (rotations per minute).

All in all, the maximum airflow achievable by the Turbine Master Mach 1.2 is 56.5 CFM.

There are other assets that its maker is no doubt proud of, such as the Barometric Ball bearing and the fact that the 16 blades are removable.

There is also how the product bundle includes, besides the fan itself, several metal screws (four), the same number of rubber screws and a MOLEX-to-3-pin adapter, plus rubber pads.

The life expectancy of the newcomer is 100,000 hours and those interested in it need only pay $16 (orders can be placed via this page).

Finally, for those that think this particular Turbine Master is not exactly what they are searching for, two new possibilities may emerge soon.

As reports have it, the so-called Turbine Master Mach 0.8 and Turbine Master Mach 1.8, with rotary speeds of 800 RPM and 1,800 RPM, respectively, are on the way as well.
