There will be two of them initially, but more may come afterwards

After months of not offering anything in terms of water cooling, Cooler Master is developing a series of just this sort of cooling products.

Of course, with a name like “Cooler Master,” it makes sense that the company would want to earn “mastery” of this particular facet of the cooling industry.

Also, with new high-end central processing units on the way, this is a very good time for such things to appear.

The company did not officially announce its so-called Eisberg series (obviously a deliberate misspelling the German spelling of iceberg).

That didn't stop VR-Zone from posting some photos and info about the collection though.

There was no release date to impart, but the prices, at least, were given, for two Eisberg models at any rate.

The Eisberg 120 will retail for 120 Euro, which translates into $157. Its name comes from the fan with a diameter of 120mm.

Meanwhile, the Eisberg 240 will sell for 140 Euro ($183), but its name doesn't mean there is a 240mm fan in play, but two 120mm ones.

Besides the fans, the coolers are more or less identical, with a pump made by German Eheim (known for making pumps for aquariums and such).

Ceramic bearings are present as well, along with metal coils on the outside of the hoses, plus fairly soft tubing. Not only that, but the pump even has a small reservoir.

Cooler Master may or may not release the Eisberg in the Asia-Pacific region (APAC), which means that even if US and European users get their hands on it, the rest of the world might not. We'll have to wait until the official announcement on the company's part before we know for sure.

The IT player is running tests at the moment, which means it won't be overly long. Keep an eye out for this thing if you plan to build an Ivy Bridge system.
