Hyper line of coolers will grow by two in October, 2011

Cooler Master doesn't have this name for nothing, as its collection of cases and coolers is extensive and ever growing, like it did just a short while ago, when two new Hyper series models showed up.

CPUs are the main part of a computer, this being the reason for their name (Central Processing unit).

One thing everyone knows about them is that their performance and service comes at a price, figuratively and literally.

Basically, in addition to the money needed to get one, the chips need to always have something to cool them off.

CPUs have their own reference coolers as part of the product bundle, but many customers find them unsatisfactory, especially overclockers and gamers.

As such, Companies like Cooler Master thrived on the manufacture of coolers, like the Hyper series.

This Hyper series just expanded, the outfit having completed the Hyper 212 EVO and Hyper TX3 EVO, which will work on both Intel and AMD CPUs.

The Hyper 212 EVO features the Continuous Direct Contact technology, which has its four copper heatpipes placed right on the CPU surface (and connected to each other).

A Sleeve Bearing fan with a diameter of 120mm disperses the heat that said heatpipes take to the aluminum heatsink (the rotary speed is of 600 to 2,000 RPM and sound output is 9 to 36 dBA). An extra fan can be used on the other side.

All in all, the item measures 120 x 80 x 159 mm and weighs 569 grams (without that second fan at least).

Meanwhile, the Hyper TX3 EVO has just three copper heatpipes, a 92mm fan (800 to 2,800 RPM), a sound output of 17 to 35 dBA and a size of 90 by 79 by 136 mm (weight of 379 grams).

October is when sales start, for the reported prices of €34.90 / $47.50 (Hyper 212 EVO) and €23.50 / $31.98. Pre-orders should already be possible.
