We haven't heard much from Cooler Master for a while, but the company seems to have been silently preparing the release of a new product that has been specifically crafted for gaming enthusiasts. Announced since before the Computex 2009 show in Taiwan, the Cooler Master Sentinel Advance comes as the fruit of two years of development, providing gaming enthusiasts with a new, high-performance gaming mouse that is featured with a number of technologies to enable the end-user to improve his gaming skills.

Part of the company's CM Storm family of products, the new Sentinel Advance gaming mouse has been specifically designed to deliver a sleek design and performance features to gaming users. The mouse has been featured with a 5600 DPI Storm Tactical Twin-laser sensor, coupled with 64KB of Sentinel-X memory. Additional features include an OLED DPI Management system, OLED team logo personalization, eight programmable buttons, a Rapid Fire Tactical Mode, 1ms response time and a maximum speed of 235 inches per second.

Like some of the other gaming mice that have been released on the market, the Sentinel Advance will also allow its users to adjust its weight, depending on their specific requirements and choosing from five 4.5g pieces. In addition, the mouse boasts a right-hand ergonomic design and dynamic surface adaptation, basically enabling the end-user to take advantage of a high-performance gaming experience.

The Sentinel Advance measures 3.3 x 5.3 x 1.6-inch and weighs in at 161.5 grams. Expected to become available in both gray and black color options, the CM Storm Sentinel Advance gaming mouse comes bundled with the company's patented StormGuard security solution, which is said to prevent gaming gear from being stolen at LAN parties or in other public environments. The mouse is due out on September 15 globally, coming with a suggested retail pricing of US$69.
