Cooler Master unleashed many cases, cooling solutions and power supplies over the years, and it looks like this occasion has it preparing an enclosure for those that want their systems silent and mighty at the same time.

One thing about high-end hardware, especially central processing units and graphics cards, is that they can be really loud.

Granted, high-end CPU coolers and even the solutions one can strap onto video adapters can be quite good at not making too much noise.

Still, there are those that would rather not spend larger amounts of money on individual coolers just to solve the noise issue, especially if they have an alternative.

Cooler Master offers such an alternative in the shape of the Silencio 550 computer case, a mid-tower enclosure that has sound proofing material on both side panels.

The company only has a teaser web page on its website, but some online stores supposedly have it on sale already, in the UK at least, for £72.98, which more or less corresponds to $148.

There are a pair of 120mm fans present, one on the front and one at the back, both of which have a rotary speed of 800 RPM (rotations per minute) and a low noise output (of course).

As far as internal room goes, seven 3.5-inch hard disk drives can be placed on the inside, while a 2.5-inch tray lets even an SSD (solid state drive) be added to the mix.

Additionally, three 5.25-inch ODD (optical disk drive) bays exist, along with a hotswap HDD dock and an I/O panel at the top (one USB 3.0, one USB 2.0, audio connectors and an SD card reader).

Finally, the front panel boasts a mirror finish and the whole thing is colored black (both on the inside and the outside) and measures 210 x 415 x 505 mm.
