The Air-Purifier Bike concept is the work of people at Lightfog Creative

Bicycles are eco-friendly by nature – unless one decides to ride them while carrying a bucket of coal that's been set on fire. Thanks to the people at Lightfog Creative, the bikes of the future might be even greener than the ones we’re are all too accustomed to.

These people have come up with a new concept two-wheeler, which they call the Air-Purifier Bike.

The bike has an air purifier tucked away inside its handlebars, whose sole purpose in life is to “breathe” in air pollutants just so the rider won't have to.

What's more, Trend Hunter says that a photosynthesis system is fitted inside the frame's top tube, which means that, apart from clearing the air, this bike can produce oxygen. Pretty neat, right?

And if you're still not convinced that this is one really cool bike, I'll have you know that, thanks to the batteries it is also fitted with, this little beauty can act as an air filtration system even when parked.

Yes, I know I sound like a sales agent, but I very much like this concept bike, and I would just love to take it out for a spin at some point in the future. What do you think? Let me know in the comments section below.
