Dual-SIM cell phones seem to become more and more popular, especially in Asia, where there are lots of users who need this kind of handsets. One of the latest phones to offer dual-SIM capabilities is Cool 920, a device that also brings a "dual Bluetooth" feature.

Coming in a clamshell form factor, the Cool 920 is quite nice in terms of design, having a silver/metallic case that makes it look like a fashionable handset created by any of the big handset manufactures.

The phone's dual-SIM capability allows you to use two SIM cards at the same time, one being active and the other one in stand-by, while the dual Bluetooth capability allows you to use two Bluetooth profiles simultaneously.

The other features packed in Cool 920 include a 2.6 inch internal (and swiveling) display with 260K colors and 240 x 320 pixels, Video and Music players, stereo speakers, a 2.0 Megapixel camera with video recording, handsfree, online stocks tracker, embedded games and microSD TransFlash card support (a 256MB card is included in the sales package). What's not that cool about this new Cool phone is that it only comes with dual-band GSM connectivity (900/1800 MHz) and GPRS, hence fast data transfer speeds and quick Web browsing are a bit out of the question. But I guess that, for Chinese users, the GSM-only capability won't be seen as a drawback, since China doesn't have a nationwide 3G network yet.

According to Cool 920's presentation page, the phone comes with a 2800 mAh battery and "Philips power-saving mode chips", hence it's capable of running up to seven hours in talk-time mode and up to 410 hours in stand-by mode.

In case you're interested in buying the new and shiny Cool 902, the phone can be acquired from Totobay, for $183 (118 Euros), unlocked and with a 1-year warranty.
