Cookoo promises a much longer battery life than any other smartwatches on the market offer

If the likes of LG G Watch or Samsung Gear Live don’t really do anything for you, there’s plenty of alternative options to choose from.

Among them is the Cookoo smartwatch, which claims it can sustain a longer battery life than that of other products you could be purchasing on the market today.

The LG G Watch might be able to keep you in the loop for a few days, but the Cookoo is said to last months without having to pop in for a charge.

The Cookoo is the product of a Kickstarter project that started out back in 2012. The watch is being offered in two variations, one under the Sporty Chic collection (which takes advantage of silicone band) and another under the Urban Explorer umbrella that takes advantage of a flexible nylon one.

The Cookoo sports an analog digital watch face that can display the time either in analog mode or digitally. Like any smartwatch out there, the device also handles icons for calls, battery life, calendar, alarm, email and messages. However, you won’t see the content of these messages be displayed on the watch.

If you get past this inconvenience, you should know that the Cookoo is water resistant and will be able to handle a plunge in up to 330 feet / 100 m in water.

The Cookoo is compatible with the iPhone 4s and up, 5th-gen iPod touch, iPad mini and the big iPads from the 3rd-gen and up and any Android device with version 4.3 or up on them.

Cookoo ships for $150 / €112, so if the beautiful Android Wear interface is too futuristic for you and you’d like something more traditional, maybe you should consider this smartwatch.
