Sea Shepherd awards those who sent the most inspiring messages

Just recently, green-oriented organization Sea Shepherd asked that its supporters show how much they appreciate and admire captain Paul Watson by working out a message for him and sending it to the “Save Our Skipper” Online Visual Petition Contest.

Seeing how over 1,000 messages were sent to this organization by green-heads worldwide, Sea Shepherd representatives explain that picking the winners was indeed a very difficult task.

However, thanks to celebrities Perrey Reeves and Zack Callison, who agreed to step up as judges, Megan Spooner was awarded the first place.

Her message to Captain Paul Watson uses his name to make up a poem explaining why this conservationist is so much appreciated by those preoccupied by the wellbeing of our oceans.

However, we prefer the runner-up's message, which shows the image of a young boy and states that, “'Once upon a time there were whales in our oceans...' is a tale I don't want him to read.”
