The digital distribution platform that basically allows anybody, anywhere, to get their favorite computer game, has just reached a milestone this Friday: 300 games available for download and counting. The games range from triple A blockbusters to independently developed games, from FPS, RPG and Strategy titles to Casual and Kids games - basically, if you want a certain type of game, it is very likely that GamersGate will have it.

Each game can be downloaded directly to your computer, so this distribution platform (as well as the others) is the best option for those who are a bit lazy and would hate to have a short trip to the nearest game shop. New titles are added on a constant basis, the latest two being Conflict: Denied Ops and Hard to be a God. Also, recent additions include titles like S.T.A.L.K.E.R, World in Conflict, Pirates of the Burning Sea and City Life Edition 2008. To check our opinion regarding World in Conflict, go read our review.

Hard To Be A God is a the new RPG from Ascaron, a game that combines the science fiction and medieval fantasy worlds with a lot of hack & slash, horseback jousting, sword fighting and secret agents from another world.

Conflict: Denied Ops is the fifth game in the conflict series, developed by Pivotal Games. The game is set in today's volatile political climate, focusing on two covert field operatives, experts in weapons and military tactics. The game allows players to switch seamlessly, at any point, between these two operatives to lay down covering fire, explore diverging paths through the levels, create distractions and pin the enemy under fire. If you think this sounds good, be sure to return soon to Softpedia, since a Conflict: Denied Ops review will be posted in the next couple of days.
