Last week all eyes went to Google that unveiled its own dedicated wearable OS, called Android Wear. And the first smartwatches running the operating system have already been announced in the form of the Motorola Moto 360 and LG G Watch.

But while smartwatches running on Android aren’t exactly a novelty, why not stretch the imagination a little bit and envision a time-keeping wearable built by Nokia and Microsoft.

And that’s exactly what designer Omar Pirela has done with his Lumia Smartwatch Mark II prototype. The device will come with a firm magnesium ceramic body and with a screen bundling AMOLED technology.

The operating system is envisioned to be Windows Phone, information given away by the Windows logo located on the watch. When the device is turned off, we can see the logo before the interface per-se launches. We can spot the Twitter, Facebook and eMails app being onboard.

There’s a purely vertical navigation system visible in the video, detailing a menu where the user receives notifications when getting new emails and alerts from social media. Check it out for yourselves!

Anyway, I just told you yesterday rumor has it Nokia might be working towards releasing a some wearables of its now later this year, so we might end up seeing something in the veil of the Lumia Smartwatch Mark II pretty soon.
