It looks like a display box but really is a personal computer

Another ASUS product was launched in Taipei, Taiwan, in anticipation of Computex 2013, which will take place between June 4 and June 8.

ASUS seems to like leaving us hanging. It could have revealed the specifications of everything it brought to the show, but it didn't.

Indeed, all I could find about the VivoPC was that it is a small, thin HTPC with 802.11ac WiFi and the ability to stream HD video over that wireless connection.

I have also learned, through Engadget, that the ASUS SonicMaster audio technology is included as well, and that, surprise surprise, Microsoft's Windows 8 OS is installed on it.

Just like the technical details, the price and ETA (estimated time of arrival) were kept under wraps. Depending on the company's plans, we may have to wait for days or weeks for an update.
