Sapphire has begun flooding the market with new motherboards. With Intel Haswell CPUs finally out, that was expected. Here are the first two.

Two of the models that the company brought to the show taking place in Taipei, Taiwan (Computex 2013, June 4-8) are the ATX Pure Platinum Z87A-MA and the micro-ATX Pure Platinum Z87M-PR.

The Z87A-MA has a 5-phase VRM, a PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot, a PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot (electrical x4), a pair of PCI Express 2.0 x1 slots, two legacy PCI slots, four DDr3 memory slots, and six SATA 6 Gbps ports.

There are six USB 3.0 connectors too, plus 6-channel HD audio and all the standard knickknacks: DVI, D-Sub, and HDMI display outputs, Gigabit Ethernet.

The Z87M-PR has the same CPU VRM but, oddly enough, better audio (8-channel HD). Expansion slots include each of the following: PCI-Express 3.0 x16, mPCIe, PCIe 2.0 x1, and legacy PCI.

No prices are known, but retailers should start selling them soon.
