Of all the celebrities you could imagine ever getting involved in a picture leak scandal, perhaps Nicolas Cage would be the last, if at all on that list. However, this is precisely what’s happening right now, after compromising photos of the actor and his ex were stolen from the ex’s house.

Nicolas Cage and Christina Fulton started dating in 1988 and have a son together, Weston, who has been in the headlines quite a lot in recent years for getting involved in fights with his wife (and not only) and landing in hospital because of the injuries sustained.

Some time during their romance, the two apparently took several revealing photos, which were just recently lifted from her house by a former handyman.

TMZ reports that the handyman broke into Fulton’s house in April and left with “four computers and box of wild photos.” The computers were retrieved but police are still looking for the photos which, in other words, could end up on one of the celebrity websites specializing on this type of reveals.

“The handyman, Ricardo Orozco, was arrested last month and charged with felony burglary. He's pled not guilty and is currently being held on $1 million [€744,269] bail,” the celebrity publication also notes.

As far as we know, Nicolas Cage and Fulton are doing their best to be civil towards each other but are by no means close. No word yet on how the actor took the news of the photo theft when she told him about it but, whatever his reaction was, he didn’t comment about it to the press.

Cage is now married for the third time and lives in Las Vegas. In a March 2013 interview, one of his few TV appearances, he explained why he preferred Sin City to Los Angeles and how, ironically, the former was much quieter and private than the latter.

Paparazzi have always been a huge peeve for the actor, as also has excessive media attention. We imagine he’s praying those photos never show up online.
