Lenovo unintentionally unveiled its plans ahead of their time

Just yesterday we saw a Lenovo tablet/laptop hybrid called IdeaPad A10 pop up in web stores across Germany. It was also discovered that the manufacturer somehow ended up posting the usual manual for the device on its website. But with no official statement from Lenovo things were far from being clear.

However, that has all been cleared up now, Slashgear reports, with Lenovo spokesperson Chris Milllward stepping up and confirming that indeed the IdeaPad A10 was meant to be unveiled this week. Nevertheless, the unintentional manual slip and the shop listing managed to put a dumper on things.

Lenovo is expected to provide further details about availability and pricing, because Millward didn’t add any extra information related to that. Yet, the German site posted a price of $337 / €249 for the device.

It appears that the hybrid will have a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and get power from a Rockchip RK3188 ARM Cortex-A9-quad-core processor coupled with maybe 1GB or 2GB of RAM. Lenovo is supposedly bringing the Android operating system into this model. However, at this point nothing is sure, and more information is expected to be revealed.
