Indoor lighting is getting more environmentally friendly as days go by

We just talked about how, starting today, 40W and 25W incandescent light bulbs are to be gradually taken off the EU market.

Seeing how sooner or later more green-oriented lighting options will find themselves used on a rather large scale, perhaps the time has come to also make our lamps more environmentally friendly.

From this standpoint, DeGross Design & Innovation's recently developed UTREM LUX series seems to us like a note-worthy choice.

Thus, these lamps are made from used glass bottles that have been recycled, and from wood offcuts provided by businesses that no longer had any use for them.

Moreover, all of these lamps have been made by hand, which means that purchasing one of them guarantees that no other people will ever be able to display the same design in their homes.

According to the company's official website, this collection is to be launched this September, as part of the London Design Festival.

Down below you also have a video showing how these lamps are made.
